These are great people, just let them know you are looking to get more familiar with fire arms.

I would recommend going there and telling them what you said above. I did my CCP training there, have shot at their gun range a number of times and handled a number of guns they have for sale. I have never met anyone there who has a bad attitude. They are always friendly and courteous. It's my favorite shop to visit. I think this is the right place for you to start.
