We go to church to praise and worship God. If they would be talking about those things I wouldn't go! I go to church to find peace. I suggest you join one of the many groups the church has where you would hear more in detail about your preferences. I personally love and enjoy the services, and I think talking about abortion is out of place. When you have God in your heart abortion is not an option. God bless you.
The bible speaks on all those topics and much much more. What I appreciate most of the pastors is their ability to help me understand and apply biblical principles to every day life. The worship is awesome too. God bless.
As Brenda mentioned we have small groups which are groups of people that study the word together and share their walk with God together. It feels like a small church and you can have closer relationships with people of similar interests or situations. You can always give it a try.
