I am new patient and have an outpatient appointment. They asked me to bring a veterans ID card and I was not issued one when they approved me for care. How do I get an ID card?

Go to the main desk just inside the front entrance and they can help you. I would bring a DD214 with you but they are very helpful there.

When you walk into the lobby, go to the sign that says eligibility. Bring a copy of your state issued I.D., and Birth Certificate or Social Security card, and a copy of your DD-214. They will take your picture a d mail your V.A. issued I.D. card within 3 to 4 weeks to your residence.
