You should get there at 6:00 - that's when the clinic opens. They usually will take you that day. You'll need an I.D. If you have Medi-cal, then they will pay 100% of the cost. If not, it's $300.00 per month. The doctor comes in about 7:00 am. You should go on a Tuesday or a Thursday, because that is when the doctor Koo is in. She's very cool. She'll start you on a higher dose than the nurse practitioner would. The nurse is there Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. Try to avoid her if you can. If not, she can do intakes too. You usually get dosed on the first day. (30 - 60 mg., depending on the doctor). If you have an I.D., and Insurance, or $300 cash, you will get dosed on intake day. If not, it might take a day or two.
