We did the large pontoon boat. Travelled slowly thru the bayou so we could see the wildlife and tropical plants. It was also easy to hear our guide Jamie, who gave us some history, some funny jokes and pointed out things we would never see on a fast boat. I don't think I would enjoy the fast boat as much.

I only went on the large boat, but it was a lot of fun. The guide provided a lot of knowledge and pointed out things to look at. It may be hard to hear someone on the small boat and you might miss out on hard to see wildlife.

The pontoon boat is great, I think the slower ride is much nicer. You get to see so much and our guide was awesome.

I also would suggest the large boats if you actually want to learn something. If ur looking for an adrenaline rush then hire an airboat.
