They aren't false, they're just limited. You have to go early on Thursday to get the deal. Same thing with Lidl.
I go to Augusta and N Augusta Aldi..it depends..Did you see if they do rainchecks?
That's the biggest problem with Aldis. The get whatever is shipped to them and they stick it. A lot of times what is on sale, and is an actual "sale", it a really good price, the quantity that each sure received is minimal. You have to be there as soon as "the truck" is unloaded and the others stocked. Also there are usually people there who will but a lot if not most of a particular item. Bring that they don't order items and have no way of knowing what will come in or when, they do not give rainchecks. All of this is not my take on it, but what I have been told by Aldi employees and seen in their publications in line. The local employees are the ones out in a real bad shot with this. That is next to people like you and me, who travel 30 - 40 miles one way to shop there.
They are always limited, so get there at opening the day of the start of the sale to be sure you have a best chance of getting what you want. You could also always call ahead to see if the items are going to be available at that location. This is definitely something i would do. You may even want to contact multiple locations because different ones may have different items.
