There are many types of accommodations that can be utilized at Disney. They work with thousands of Guests with special needs daily and the Cast Members are trained to handle the requirements. Depending on the rides, they can do vehicle transfers or put the wheelchair directly on the ride in a modified ride car. She would have a fantastic time!

Disney excels in catering to anyone's special needs. Be it a physical limitation or even a dietary one. Most attractions have separate entrances for people in wheelchairs and there is plenty of staff on hand to guide you where to go.

What about kids on the spectrum. I really want to bring him but am worried about him getting overwhelmed. I would love him to be able to meet Mickey and all the Disney characters. Do you do any private greetings?

Amanda Turner | Mar 13, 2022

Check out the DAS pass. This helped our family with our son.

You have just as great of a time. Most lines are equipped to handle wheelchairs. If not, what they do is give you a time to come back that is usually about 10 minutes less than what the wait time of the line would be. No one is left out at Disney!

Very handicapped friendly. It will not be any problem. My granddaughter hurt her toe at the resort we stayed at. She used a wheelchair for a day.

Diane Wood | Mar 13, 2022

It will be fine. If help needed just ask!

Renni Brickner | Mar 13, 2022

My grandson is handicapped, we rented a wheelchair at each of the entrances. They were very helpful to guide us where we needed to be on each ride.

Chuck Snider | Mar 13, 2022

Positively the best for physical limitations! Take her and ask if they don't offer first!

As a former cast member at the Walt Disney world company, I would say bring here. Each ride has their own way of allowing guest with disabilities to ride their rides. Just make sure to ask the entrance cast member of each ride how their ride would work. Also stop in at guest relations at the front of each park to talk to them about what accomodations are available because there is tons and tons of stuff Disney willing to do to help make yours and hers day just magical! Please don't be afraid to bring anyone to the parks! There magic around every corner!

Disney's accommodations for families worried about ADA compliance can be at ease. When you arrive get with guest relations to give you more assistance to ensure your trip is Stress free. They will be your go to for your ADA needs. Also plan ahead using disney experience app. they will also have ADA information there as well.

Keila Paneto | Mar 13, 2022
