The fee is $35.00 for cars and $45.00 for trucks and SUVs. Self-parking is available through the city, offsite. - Balboa Municipal Lot (Main Larger Lot by Beach/Pier): o May-September: $1.90 per hour - $19.25 daily maximum. October-April: $1.30 per hour - $19.80 daily maximum. o Motorcycles and Disabled Persons with valid placard: May-September: 95 cents per hour - $9.90 daily maximum. October-April: 65 cents per hour - $16.50 daily maximum. - Balboa Metered Lot (Closest to buildings/bike path): o May-September: $1.90 per hour (free between 6:00pm and 8:00am) October-April: 65 cents per hour (free between 6:00pm and 8:00am) o Handicap (with placard displayed) no charge Parking rates are subject to change at any time.

The city parking is the cheapest and it's right off the hotel. The hotel parking is inside a gated parking area and very safe if you have valuables in the vehicle, but the city parking is 30 steps away and I've never had a problem parking in the city lot.
