Myriam. ...Please ...as a European ...Please show a little more respect ...You make it sound like a ' West End Show' ....It's a church !

As a member of Abyssinian Baptist Church, I want to emphasize we welcome visitors from across the globe. We do worship God and there is no admission fee. Words can at times be misinterpreted but thankfully God understands our intent. Please feel free to visit and enjoy service with us. You are welcome at all times.

Chris Thomas: Thank you so much for explaining to Myrium that Abyssinian Baptist Church is a place of worship. Abyssinian Baptist Church is not a concert venue. You do not pay an admission price (“donation”) to enter Abyssinian Baptist Church to be entertained.

Christian's should be able to answer questions without alienating people in need of witnessing. Maybe listening to wonderful gospel music will have a profound effect. Perhaps one of you should take them and do some real witnessing. Shame

Hi Miriam. So that you have a better understanding of Abyssinian Baptist Church services, please go to the website www.abyssinian.org. You can view any of the archived services for free and going back to almost six months (maybe more). If you wish to make a donation, you can do that online as well. Follow the instructions. Most of all, enjoy the services.

Roland, it sounds like you are adding a lot to someone else's response. It also seems like you use Google review as a place to vent your general frustration with life. May I invite you to come worship with us? It may bring you some relief.

Yes! The worship god of money. They do not honor the gospel of Jesus Christ. They are in 138 street just behind a HOMELESS shelter were elderly people had gone hungry. They are a false church. They don't help their own kind or community. Abyssinian need to start paying taxes to the government.

I don't understand why so many of you are upset. The way Evangelical churches "worship" is a show. They have choreographed dancing, loud music like a rock concert, dancing, etc. It is totally a show! Whether you're Baptist, Pentecostal, or some other charismatic assembly, it is totally a show. I'm a NYer and I find these churches hilarious!
