Is it safe and appropriate to have my kids visit the City Walk (not the Majic land) place at 11pm onwards? The Universal Citywalk usually opens till late night.

Universal Orlando is a separate entity and company from Disney and their parks. Universal's City Walk is safe and appropriate for all ages, but it does have a more adult crowd after dark, since many visit the different clubs and bars located in there. Disney Springs, on the other hand, is more of a shopping district with sprinkled family venues and children's activities that the whole family can enjoy. I would say Disney springs is more suitable for children late into the day than Universal City Walk.
