Fireworks happen at 8pm.plan to gather in front of castle at a good spot by 7:45 pm. There is no extra cost to view the fireworks show.
The fireworks will always be before park close or at park close so you don't need to buy anything extra to see them. The only exception to this is for events like the Halloween Party's and Christmas Party's where they will have additional fireworks special to that event.

Better have your spot occupied at least an hour before showtime. Longer if really busy. People are usually filling in by 6pm to get up front. Personally i like to be closer to Caseys. Better vantage point. The further past 7pm you wait the further back you will be.

As mentioned above, fireworks are usually 15 minutes before closing or at closing of the park (depending on the day, usually 8pm). You stay as it is within your ticket admission. The only times you would need to pay extra and there are later fireworks are within special Events (Halloween / Christmas - after hours). If going back to MK parking, I'd advise to take the ferry on the way out as the monorail gets crowded and takes longer to get back there. I usually wait anywhere from 20 - 45 minutes.

They Can Be Seen For Free But If You Want a Really Great Seat Before They Begin I Suggest Getting To The Center Of The Park Where The Castle Is Ahead Of Time
