If an animal is not on stray or medical hold and has already been altered (spayed/neutered) then they can typically go home same day.
Most times that is the case but it really just depends on if the animal that you pick has been spayed or neutered and has been updated on all shots. If that hasn't being done yet then it's usually the next day or two days later.
