They "recommend", but not required. The first oil change for my 2017 Camry wasn't due until 10,000 miles, but service light came on and I went in. All they did was look it over; no fluids exchanged.
More than likely you should. Call the service department and ask them. They are very friendly and easy to work with.
It's a dealership. Its always best to have an appointment unless you have a long time to wait.
