Hi Robert.. you can red Hebrew 6 it says that you can.. but I will say.. once you really know the Jesus and give your life fully to Him it's almost impossible to lose it. You will fall in love with him more and more

Yes. Revelation 3:15-16 15 I know thy works, that thou art neither cold nor hot: I would thou wert cold or hot. 16 So then because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spue thee out of my mouth. Shows how they we're once in him and he spit them out for being in mixture

It would be nice to know which part of Hebrews 6 he is referring to. So, I will help him out. No, you cannot lose your salvation. the first few verses (1-3) outline some very specific items: some had already apostatized (renounced), some were near to it, and the writer of Hebrews was warning about DESERTING the faith. (notice renouncing and deserting) intentionally going away from. There is danger of repudiating Christ's leadership (refuse to accept or be associated with). Numbers 15:30; Matthew 12:31; 1 John 5:16; Hebrews 10:26. Then, there is always the consideration of those who "profess" to be Christians (or who have professed to have received the word) but never truly did (John 6:39 and 10:27; Romans 9:29; 1 peter 1:3-5, 23) So, unless you in your heart made one of those decisions conscientiously, chances are salvation was not accepted in the first place, so there was/is nothing to lose.
