You are looking for torani ( or torrone ) is an Italian almond nougat. They come in a box that has smaller boxes with a human face on the box. You can find them on the checkstands individually, or the full box on the bottom shelf of the candy isle.

La Florentine Torrone is the common Italian nougat. Corti also sells different flavors with fruit and/or nut bits, usually above the refrigerator cases with packaged cheeses. I have had turron from Spain, which is the same.
