Hi JOHN, everyone has known us for the last 30 years as 99 Cents Only Stores. Our name is a big part of our culture. We are keeping our company name because most of our items still cost 99.99¢ or less.

This is a bloodline for many households to stay afloat. The idea of getting a much needed blanket or household item for $2 or more $$ is okay. However, we should be looking at society's ills for leaving millions of people in desperate circumstances.
