You can email to corporate, but I would ask/complain directly to the store. Since your an avid shopper, I'm sure you will get a good resolution. I'm sure they will address your issue to your satisfaction. Remember to save your receipt and/or sign up for U rewards with your telephone #. It keeps track of your purchases/receipts.
I would try taking it back and explain to the store manager what happened I think they will help you.
