11 Oct 3017: All Debit cards, Visa & Master cards, but like a lot of stores, gas stations and restaurants, many will Not accept American Express credit cards. Several years ago, I cancelled my AM~Express card because I was told that some stores, gas stations and smaller named restaurants have to pay a higher fee to A.E for taking the card. Example: if a business pays .35 cents to accept Master Card and Visa, A.E fees are .65 for every customer transaction. American Express card is only good at high end up scale Beverly Hills stores and restaurants like Saks, Macy, Neiman Marcus and Wolfgang Puck, P.K Chang restaurants.
