The boiling point that I've found are pretty sketchy, but a fair estimate for soybean oil (most cheap cooking oil is soybean oil) is about 300 C (or 572 F).. if you were boiling cooking oil.. and the chicken didnt cook.. there is something else going on here..
Trail did you keep the heat on the oil after it started boiling was the heat still going because the heat irregardless of the oil was boiling or not he should have cooked that chicken
