Yes you can buy unpackaged groceries. It is like any other supermarket, but I noticed many of their products are not from here, so no GMOs. Just bring your own bags or get small left over boxes there
Aldi does not have bulk bins.
You may buy individual items with exception of produce. For example, you can only buy bag of onions not an individual onion. However, some are available like cucumbers.
