It can get quite loud because there is no division between the bar area and dining room.
I agree that it is a very busy downtown restaurant and not what I would characterize as romantic
If you are looking for a quiet place for dinner then this is not the place to bring your wife to. It's busy and loud, lots going on. Seek another place for your romantic dinner.
The restaurant is nice but mostly busy. I would suggest something in Lodi for a nice romantic dinner
