Usually the promotional value expires but the amount paid not. This means that you can use the amount paid and buy your new tickets and pay for the difference. However each groupon have their own specification. You should contact groupon to see if they can do something for you since you bought the tickets from them. They have been able to help me in the past. Sometimes they don't give you a refund but at least a credit to use in something else.
They will not honor that and you will have to purchase them all over again because I had that same problem
Call the manager and explain to him the situation and I'm sure they will honor them or exchange them for good passes.
I doubt but try calling them as well as reach Groupon to see if they can exchange.
