Good afternoon Sky,. I guess the owners or managers of Big Y made the decision they no longer wanted to contribute to plastic bags being improperly disposed of, which contributes to littering or other damaging consequences. Plastic trash bags are properly disposed of, as far as I am aware. Owners of private companies can make decisions for their businesses that some like and some don't like. We, as consumers, get to choose which businesses we give our business to. I like Big Y. They appear to represent their beliefs. That is how I define freedom.
