Where are the cars collected from/dropped off at? There is mention of a shuttle from the terminal to the cars, is this still within the airport or is it at an office down the road? Does anyone know the exact drop off address?

It is basically airport property although you do have to take a shuttle bus to get there. It is not an off site stand alone car rental agency

The shuttle is the blue line bus. #33. ALL rental cars are picked up and returned to the Rental Car Center which is just on the outskirts of the airport. You do have to go thru the airport to drop off cars. Signage is good, just have a second set of eyes as yours will need to be on the surrounding traffic! Google maps works well and previous address or BOS rental car center will get you there. Cheers!
