They waive the cost of your pets first visit(exam). Although if your pet receives any treatment (meds or tests) you and the physician work out a treatment plan that works for you. They also have information about pet insurance plans that may help.
It depends. I'm not sure about just a check-up. I do remember getting a discount on my 1st visit. One cat had to have a whole bunch of lab tests done to determine what his systemic infection was. That cost me about $900. Another cat needed a strange cyst removed and that was less than $200. Overall, I'd say they have reasonable costs for the level of care your pet receives.
