I was here with my family, always come here, until the last time the waitress asked me for more tips, we are 5 people, I gave her 5 dollars, but she said it was not enough, I will never return if I do not apologize

$5? That's is a Ridiculously low tip for 5 people

It is a self service restaurant buffet. Tips are at your discretion. Some countries don't believe in tipping. If she complained I would have taken the $5 back.

$5.00 for 5 people that's awful .you should give at least 15% .Unless they are no good then 10%.

Waitresses should never ask for tips. This is a first for me. Remember TIPS mean to improve proper service. Ichiban is a place that is self service except for drinks, napkins, etc. If the waitress did'nt gave you good service no tips. If they did at least 15% will be ok.

The waitress may have felt it wasn't enough of a tip, but was out of line to say it wasn't enough. For a buffet it is self-serve, but the waitress does have to bring silverware and drinks and keep them full and remove dirty dishes continually. We usually tip between 10 & 15% depending on the service.

I was thinking about going until I read the comment about the waitress complaining about the 5.00 tip.

I am equally given me, I was with my family a group of 3 people and the waitress when I take the account, they told us not to forget the tip and when I look at it 7 dollars of tip said that very little and I looked ugly and collected the dishes of very bad form, it is a gross

I get waiters love on tips but here they aren’t satisfied they literally harassed me for more tip
