Do not stay here. I am typing this from a Red Roof In in Hickory because the "room" we were given was so disgusting. The walls were beaten up with patches, there was dirt on the bed sheets, trash leftover, nasty stained carpet, broken tables and light fixtures, and smelled like stale cigarette smoke and mildew. We complained it was dirty and were told, "I could say you're dirty." And we didn't get a refund. If you MUST stay here ask to see your room before you pay. I'm filing a complaint with the department of lodging and restaurants when I get home.
Elisabeth, PLEASE stay somewhere else. Read the negative reviews before staying.
Awful..back rooms should be condemned...don't stay here. Have posted several pics of room 235...they get deleted...gee Curtis don't want people seeing documented proof of how bad your motel is? The pics seen are a false image of the place to con people.
My family and I stayed there back in the 80's. From the look of the photos they haven't updated anything. Something to consider if you choose to stay there.
I'm trying to figure out the negative reviews. We stayed and really found it quaint. Owner was very nice.
