I have heard that the Texas Roadhouse is a noisy place and it is hard to have a conversation there among guests. Is this true of all locations? Does the hour have anything to do with the volume of the noise and music?

We've eaten at numerous locations & never had this experience. Yeah, there's music, yeah there's people & it's busy, but nothing that you can't talk over.

Its a good time the merriment found at the place is very pleasant. Its a younger crowd that likes good food. Hence volume is subject of the individual rather the classification of noise..

We have dined at several locations and have not ever had an issue carrying out a conversation. If you have someone hard of hearing in your party perhaps it would be more difficult, but I really would not see it as an issue.
