I know it’s been a while but I’m a local- they’ve remodeled it to a two story location similar to the one up Lankershim. They seeming to be nearing the end of construction as of now (Beginning of February 2022)
I just past it and saw it was gone! I was surprised.
I heard different stories I think it was just poor management and a loss of money. It wasn't well taken care of. And it was a private franchise from what I understand.
The 24 Hour drive thru was one of the best. Lots of people ordering so food was always hot. Its hard to imagine they weren't making money. Maybe not enough people wanting to work.
They could be remodeling the whole building. Because the McDonald's signage is still up.
