Did somebody change the name of the convention hall to a temporary event that was held there a while back or did Comic Con buy out the previous owners and this is the new name? 'cuz I could have easily changed it back, but I decided to ask instead.

It's still the San Jose MCenery Convention Center. The change in Google maps happen last year to allow reviews and in events in places like the convention center. Since the space is used different based on the event, reviewing three connection center itself vs an event makes more sense.

I was there earlier today and the name that showed up on the map was the Silicon Valley Comic Con. I checked again and now it's pictures of the auto show. But at least the name came back. Does this mean one can enter a past event's name that was held here and THAT will show up on the map complete with pictures taken therein?

Pretty sure it's still the San Jose Mcenery convention Center, they just change the name for the cons.
