Hi i have question about returns why home thepo if they ask you for ID or driver license and yes u can spend that money so this morning i trying to return like couple items and they scanned everything finally they say to me i cant return anymore

Its because everyone steals stuff and returns it for store credit. Criminals dont want to give an id. So they feel it slows them down I believe. Register at the store for pro rewards amd all purchase items can be looked up and returned with no receipt. I am in home depot at least once a day amd do a lot of returns have no problems ever.

I'd have to agree with Jack A. I started my pro rewards account online from home and spend about $30k a year at home Depot and never once had an issue and hardly ever remember my receipt.

I am not sure.maybe there is a limit on returns
