Mtg is really stepping up the welcome process for new players this season. Being a sanctioned store, they will have everything you need and they are super friendly there and will welcome you with open arms, whether for Friday Night Magic or Saturday standard or whatever...
Saturday night Standard is super relaxed and friendly. I was a total stranger and everyone was pretty cool.
