Yes you will have to go into the DMV to go from a Class A to a class C you can go online and fill out the application for a new driver's license because that is what it is you're not renewing or anything like that you may have to take a test and a new photo but you can fill out the application online submit it to the DMV you will receive a code after you submit it online you have to take that code number with you so they can pull up your application on the computer which is one less thing that has to be done at the time you go to the DMV and since you are going to go get a Class C then you may as well look up what you need to take along to make the class see a real ID license and that would be like your social security card and your driver's license a marriage certificate a birth certificate a passport if that's what you got a24 other forms of ID like a utility bill or something of that nature something that shows your permanent address as recent as possible like in the last six months
Yes, yes you do.. to get things straightened out
Since it doesn't allow you to renew online, then I'll have to say that you will need to go in. If you apply for a RealId you can fill out the neccessary documents and get a confirmation number. Take that to the office and they'll pull you to the front of the line. Took me less than an hour from the time I showed up to finish up.
