What species of Jatropha tree would be best for our front yard landscape to replace a diseased hibiscus tree? A species we can keep trimmed to approximately 10 feet in height. Thank you.

I had the same problem and I researched it. An exterminator was going to be expensive so I tried something less harmful. Spray bottle filled with water & a spoon of dish soap. Spray only the roots. Hope it works for you as well☺

Try podocarpus its nice and grow fast. They will get a decease the mades them brown but you just have to trim them and remove the infected branch. I have them as a hedge they have grow 2 feet in les than 6 month's. If you want them to grow fast, you will have to supply them with plenty of water.

Jatropha Bush..not really considered a tree. When they grow higher then 5ft. they get leggy. I have them in my yard (6). So every few months I trim them. If you don't maintain them they will get diseased.
