They charge but the fee depends on the age of the dog. We adopted what they call a senior dog (he was 8 years old) and there was no fee only a request for donation. The amount was entirely up to us. Puppies and pure breeds are the most expensive. The fee you're paying goes directly towards the care of the other rescue animals.
There are adoption fees. I will tell you that this place and the people who run it are AMAZING!! We adopted our sweet Gus about 2 months ago however it was a tough choice because are so many amazing dogs there. ❤
