so we have to be 17 or 18. what if we take someone who’s 17, can we (16 year olds) go in with them ?

You need to be 17 to watch an R rated movie. But if you have a beard or a thick mustache or are tall and you make your voice deep, then youll look older and will have no problems. It's honestly all about CONFIDENCE.
