Yes, they are not as friendly as they used to be for sure.
Just had lunch there yesterday and the young girl who took our order acted like she was irritated with us. Wanted to give her a tip of "you will get more tips if you don't act so unfriendly" 😡
Yes, but there are some great ones still. I ordered a ribeye out of the meat counter, like I love to do. Asked for it grilled with grilled mushrooms and onions. There is a $2 charge for grilling and for the onions and for the mushrooms - total $6 plus the steak. They usually serve it on a huge lettuce leaf. It came, no lettuce, no mushrooms, no onions. I asked about it and got a plate with raw onions and mushrooms. LOL What can I say? It was a tough pull but as I was finishing the steak, a seasoned Taylor's employees brought me some sauteed mushrooms and onions. Maybe all the newbies have more experience - that was late Summer 2017. We love Taylor's and will stick with them through this rough patch.
I've eaten at Taylor's since day it opened. I hate to say anything bad. So I won't. But it's grown, and growing. As for service, well it's becoming bad everywhere. People feel entitled to be rude anymore.
