Hi Donna, the YMCA helps families in several capacities. We offer financial assistance for all of our programs and classes, Child Care and summer camp included. Is there a specific need you are inquiring about?
For housing? Not entirely. The YMCA is for men only. I believe the YWCA can house mothers and children, but I'm not sure about the wait, rules, and age/number of children. I suggest going to DSS and seeing what's available for your needs.
