I would guess it helps from not sliding. Regular shoes are slippery, so with the grip on the bottom of the socks, the kids won't fall so easily. The good part about it is once you get the sock, you can use them every time you go to the Get Air trampoline park and if you get a hole or anything in them, they will replace for free, just bring the old ones back.
