Do people donate used countertops to the store, such that I might have a chance of finding an 8-9’ length of Corian-type countertop (medium to dark grey), maybe donated when someone upgraded to quartz or granite) at the store? Need to replace a countertop with a large, horribly moldy cutting board inset into its surface. The mold is so bad in and on the board itself and around its edges that I’m thinking that replacing the whole countertop (which will require taking out and reinstalling the sink and doing something about a backsplash) may be the best course. The entire 1955 kitchen will be redone next year, though, so we’re trying to come up with an economical fix to get us through to next September.
Currently we do not go into homes to pick up items, they need to be in a garage or outside. In the case of upholstered furniture it would need to be put outside the day of the pickup, not before, and completely and securely covered in the event of rain. We cannot pick up wet items.
Not cause. I would call and ask
