It's open. I was just there recently. It was pretty darn good so I'm not sure what Darren is talking about. Of course during the busiest week of the year (during the Strawberry Festival ) they can't cook everything to order. But any other time of year it's great.

Not as good as it used to be! Unless you ask for every peace to be fresh cooked. I went twice back when they where having tje Strawberry Festival be and both times i got 1 peace that was great and 1 peace that tasted like it was old and recooked!

Small pieces of chicken , and having to have cash on hand is inconvenient, most people use credit cards now a days .

I drive to Plant City from Brandon once a month to get Maryland Fried Chicken. I made the mistake to go last year and I forgot that they take a two week vacation during the summer. I won’t make that mistake again.

Use to be one on Busch Blvd. One block past 30th. St. It was my first job. Still cash only and peanut oil that's changed every other day and nothing else is fried in chicken vat.

Every time I go, I get Great tasting chicken.

Publix chicken couldn't hold the jockstrap of Maryland Fried Chicken. Maryland Fried Chicken is far superior!

Mary Schu | Sep 3, 2018

Chicken is great, they still take cash only, great for those who like the mom and pop feel. All chicken is cooked in peanut oil....yummy.

Jeff Klopfer | Sep 3, 2018

Chicken was just ok. A bit pricey for small pieces. I will stick with Publix fried chicken.
