Yes. There is a seperate cart path down u.s 301. There is a publix 1.6 miles from this community. And other smaller stores like seven eleven and dollar general I seen a gentleman riding the path with multiple grocery bags in his cart just a few days ago too.
Well yes and no. There is a very wide sidewalk along SR 301 that leads to many shopping venues. However, that being said, there are signs posted along the walk that state no "motorized" vehicles allowed.
