I think cost is based on the income. But you can call their office. They will explain everything to you.
Cost for rent is never based on if you're single or a lady any apartment building? Senior housing has a definite rate and the only time they would consider your earnings is if they have a Section 8 grant where that Pays for part of the rent. I've never heard of any apartment complex including senior housing change the rent from apartment to apartment for incoming tenants. Now sometimes long-term tenants will pay less than income tenant that again is apartment wide. Senior housing is of course discounted for a certain age 55 or over or 65 or over so it will cost less. But that would be prejudiced if they based on being single and a woman that's actually against the law
