I have a private well. The water has a terrible smell. I have removed the anode rod from the water heater that was installed in June of this year (2018). The smell is coming from both the hot and cold water sides. Can you help me?

Can you try describing the smell, that may help diagnose the issue. Also, does the small happen all the time or only in the beginning afternoon turning on a faucet?
