Loud is a subjective word. Also, how our ears interpret different frequencies can make things more or less bothersome. A symphony is technically loud, but has a pleasant sound. A fly buzzing in your ear is not very loud but can be awful. In closing, it's not as loud as some, but not as quiet as others.
