For the same reason they shut down the customer service area before 10:00pm.Than lie and say its open.Than you drive 20 miles round trip with your receipt because you were charged for something you didn't buy"again"...And no one is at the customer service desk so you go ask for help and 30 minutes later someone comes and says"Sorry we are closed at the customer service desk"..Duhhhhh Billy Bob..
That is a great question. Sounds like customers are taking advantage of the store policy. I hope that when I go there's no goats in the store but I think they allow Shepard with flocks to pass through.
I think several people have asked the same question. I know they've tried to crack down on the other pets, but I haven't seen a difference. I will ask management next time I go in.
I believe Walmart has a policy that only service dogs are allowed. Sometimes people either do not know that this policy exists, or just decide to break the rules and reguleeations. Usually, a manager or employee will spot the rebel in the act, and ask for the animals service paperwork and they may be asked to leave.
Walmart, like other stores, are not allowed to verify if every animal is a service animal. All they can do is ask if the animal provides a service. If the owner lies and says it does (a lot will) they can’t do anything about it.
