So if it says it closes at 8 why have I been sitting here since 7:15 waiting for Y.P.D to unlock the gait? After the park host could clearly see us walking down to our truck. Why even have times posted if your not going to follow them?

There's also a new camp host. The Trans lady that had been there was fired for no reason.

Typically the park closes at dusk. Theres a sign at the entrance st as tinf such. Unfortunately the park host generally are NOT local & have very little concern for the people, only the rules, that apparently are set in stone with flexibility. If they saw you, they should have let you out, they reside about 50 ft from the entrance. For that I will apologize.
