I am sitting in Fatz in Greenville, TN. During the long wait for a burger, that still hasn’t arrived, I have been repeatedly been called ‘Sweetie’, ‘Baby’, ‘Sweetheart ‘ by a young waiter I’ve never met before. Ugh!

Fatz Southern Kitchen is the name, southern service is what you get. I eat there weekly and have no issues. In the South, expect to get called: sweetie, honey, dear, ect. Do not like it, move out of the South. Surely you don't expect them to remember every customers name, and many customers rarely give their name.

Lord have mercy. Of I took offence to every time my husband or myself have been called sweetie, honey, etc, I think I would just stay home and cook.
