If a movies showtime is at 8:00, does it means they start letting you in the theater at 8:00 and then start the trailers. Or they let you in before 8 and movies starts exactly at 8? If that makes any sense lol.

Make sense. You can arrive early for the movie. The previews don't start till the time posted. So movie starts about 5 minutes after the posted time. Still show up early if you want to get popcorn and drinks.
