Which is better for the tours fri-sat-sun? I did Sunday once and we could go all the way to the building under the golden gate, O did in on a Saturday and the gate was closed with a really long walk. Also wondering about attractions and traffic.

Sunday was less crowded

Friday o any day from Monday to Friday.

After having done this on both Sat and Sunday I agree with guides that recommended Sunday, especially if you are doing the long route and want to visit Twin Peaks and the beautiful observation point looking over San Fran.

We did the tour on Sunday and found traffic was light and parking was available in most places on the route
